🔹 80 km Distance Bib Number Pickup:

📍 October 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the courtyard of Kőszeg’s Jurisics-vár.
📍 October 6, 2024, from 00:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., also in the courtyard of Kőszeg’s Jurisics-vár.

‼️ Participants in the 80 km distance have the opportunity to hand in two packages when collecting their bib numbers:

1️⃣ One package will be sent to the finish area where they will complete the race (Kincs Pihenő).
2️⃣ The other package can be sent in advance to the refreshment point at Oberkohlstätten (approximately halfway through the course). Packages sent to the refreshment point will be returned to the finish area after the checkpoint closes (at 9:00 a.m.), where they can be collected from the baggage claim.

Access to the race location

ACCESS TO THE RACE CENTER (START ZONE)

This year, the race starts and finishes are arranged as follows:

The 7 km, 18 km, and 46 km distances start from and finish at Kincs Pihenő, located on the mountain. Please note that the start zone for these distances is accessible only by bus.
The 80 km distance starts from Jurisics-vár in Kőszeg, where participants must arrive on their own; however, the finish location will also be at Kincs Pihenő on the mountain. Participants of the 80 km race will have the option to send two packages in advance when collecting their race numbers: one to the finish location and another to the refreshment point at Oberkohlstätten, located halfway along the route

START ZONE (Kincs Pihenő): Access to the site is still only possible by bus, as car traffic is restricted on this road section. This solution is necessary due to the very limited number of parking spaces on the mountain, which can accommodate no more than 10-15 cars.

The buses run free of charge between the TESCO parking lot and the SKI HOUSE located on Szabó-hegy(Mountain). Anyone can board them, whether a competitor, companion, supporter, or hiker.

From the SKI HOUSE, you will need to walk 500 meters to the race venue!

The travel time from TESCO to the SKI HOUSE is 25 minutes. Please account for the walk, bib collection, dressing, and placing your belongings in the baggage storage when choosing a bus! Both buses stop at all stops on the way up and down.
